The attempt right now is a dipole hung on the balcony/deck. It is very wide and we are up about 30 feet or so. You can just see the center insulator on the top part of the post. From there, the antenna goes to the ends of the deck for 20 meters. To operate lower bands, we clip on additional wire that goes down the sides of the deck. Not surprising with the sunspots being so low. Would be nice to make a few contacts. We feel this location will be a lot better than when we go to Maui.
